Deploy .ear file for tomcat

Question

I have a .ear file that contains several war files.

I am moving the application to tomcat. Once I have packed all the individual war files contained in .ear for tomcat compatibility, how will the military files be deployed?

Do I just need to deploy all the individual war files in tomcat, and it should "just work" or is it not as simple as that?

To be more specific, what is the exact equivalent of the “glue” that websphere provides for packing all wars in one ear?

Tomcat does not support the full EE stack; it is just a servlet container. You will have to deploy WAR separately.
