Download the new app on the App Store

I am trying to download my first app on the App Store. I have completed all the necessary steps for iTunes Connect, and the status of my application is "Waiting for download."

I believe the next step will be to use Application Loader to download the binary file. I'm right?

I launch Application Loader and select "Delivery Your App", then from the combo I select my application and "Next".

On the next screen “Deliver your application” there is a button “Select ...”, but I can’t understand what I need to choose.

Select the compressed binary for your application from your disk to download.

If you follow the instructions of the Apple Developer Support Center, you would follow the process of clicking on the Products tab in Xcode to open the binary for your application in Finder. You would compress the application while in the Finder. App Loader asks you about this compressed binary.

Adding this update: The new Xcode (version 4 and above) now integrates Apploader much better. You can do the following: 1. Connect the iOS device that was prepared for development 2. Select the device (instead of one of the simulators) as the build target 3. From Xcode, select "Product" → "Archive" to create and archive your product (Xcode will archive your product and launch the Organizer window so you can distribute your product 4. When your archive is selected, click the Distribute button in the Organizer window to start a dialog to send your binary to Apple.
