The publish and save buttons of the Android Developer Console do nothing
In the Android developer console on play.google.com/apps/publish, I logged in and clicked on the βAPK filesβ tab and downloaded the updated APK. I have done this successfully 15 times before. I press the save button, literally nothing happens. No error, no message, page refresh, nada. When I click the "Un-publish" button, nothing happens. I triple checked my program, it works fine. I tried other browsers, restarted eclipse, smartphone, computer, everything is fine.
Something is wrong with the Android Market console. Android save button APK does not work.
OK. I figured out my problem. . I am 100% sure that this is an error in the Android Developer Console and the Android Console.
It basically happened that the exchange rate in Zimbabwe, Qatar and Togo and several other places changed the exchange rates due to inflation or something else, and when I downloaded my new APK, Google demanded that I view and change the prices for these countries. Therefore, to fix this, I have to do something:
- Go to play.google.com/apps/publish
- Log in, click your program in the list of Android applications, click "Download the APK tab."
- Download the APK.
- Click save and publish buttons that are completely ineffective.
- Click the greyed out: "Product Details" tab.
- Scroll 3/4 way down to the exchange rate section, in some countries there is a red box.
- Enter a price for these countries, fix any other red items. Click on the checkboxes below to re-check the material you checked before.
- Return to the APK download tab. Click "Save." Saving gives the expected result "save completed."
Recommendation for Google: pressing the save button should bring up a pop-up window: "You need to look at some problems with currency exchange in the details of the program."
