When I save the file in Eclipse, it gives an error: "save all failed - negative time".

Can anyone help?

I don’t know if you solved your problem, but answer here if someone else stumbles upon this.

I see a similar sound problem here .

It seems that the file you want to save has a bad timestamp. Try touching the file with another editor to update the timestamp, and then see if it will work in Eclipse.

As Tim said, my error was XML without changing the date. The easiest way to do this is to open the file with the error using Notepad and save it again.

Thanks Tim, r_19

[My decision]

  • Step 1: Download "SetFileDate v2.0"
  • Step 2: After installation, select the "Scan folder (s)" tab, select the Project Soure folder
  • Step 3: Click "Change Date (s)"
  • Step 4: upgrade your project in Eclip
  • Step 5: Done

I ran into the same problem, tried editing the file he was talking about. It turned out that some of the image files in my resources that I downloaded had creation dates of 1601.
