How to view line comments in github

I spent all morning on github looking at the pull request, writing detailed comments on many lines in the Diff view on the pull-request page. I individually saved each step-by-step commentary, and they all appeared in their right places. I left the pull-request request page, and when I returned to it, all my comments took turns disappearing! I have no idea why they disappeared, where they went, whether other users can see them, but I can not, whatever that means, and whether I can trust myself in the future using github, or I just need to return to the phone and fax for remote collaboration! I did some search queries on the Internet, such as “how to view comments line by line on github” to get information about this, but could not find anything to alleviate my panic. We will be grateful for the tips and tricks.

Comments on the line depend on the commit that was made.

If the person who made the pull request reinstalled it, then you are not looking at what you were looking for before. This is a different fix, so no comments.

Look at the “Actions” tab and find a line in the history of actions, if you commented on this commit, click to commit and you will see that there are still comments.
If the commit has been reinstalled, you will not find that it was used (some branch), and not some repo (possibly not on another branch). It is simply cached by git and github until the garbage collector starts.

This is the best result for "Unable to view github comments" on google.

If you are here because you have left comments and can see your own comments, but others cannnot, then mark the yellow pending label in your comments. Others cannot see your comment until you have completed the review process and do not want to request changes. Once you get to the full review, others will see your comments.

Note. I answer a slightly different question than the OP, but I have the feeling that many other developers are facing this issue with stackoverflow. I just hope to help them. I had this problem and I could not find a more relevant answer than this thread. :)
