Android: How to disable the pick magnifier in ICS?

When you select text in EditText mode in ICS, a magnifier appears that appears above the selection. Does anyone know how I can disable this?

In my opinion, we can handle Zoom Gestures using system settings. We have no way to override this functionality / behavior.

You can link to links below to learn more about the signs of the increase:

Please let me know if I am wrong. thanks

After a few days, I finally found a solution.

I had a problem with a dialog box and inside I have an EditText. When this magnifying glass showed up, I don’t know why, but after I closed the Dialog and tried to open it again ... it didn’t appear at the front, as usual ... it was shown outside the Activity Window ... strange thing ... I think this is a mistake ...

The only solution I found for my problem is to set this property to my dialog box:

LayoutParams lp = dialog.getWindow().getAttributes(); lp.type = WindowManager.LayoutParams.TYPE_APPLICATION_PANEL; dialog.getWindow().setAttributes(lp);

and this magnifier tool is no longer displayed in this EditText.

I hope this can help someone.
