In what format does the data warehouse administrator back up objects?

I would like to analyze the files created by the data warehouse administrator during the backup process.

I reserve objects in blobstore. I would like to selectively extract some data from blobstore backup objects and should be able to open the file and inspect the objects.

In what format are these files stored?

According to the source code of the datastore administrator : the backup file is stored in the leveldb log format .
