The browser does not remember the file path when performing multiple downloads

Question

I allow uploading multiple images to my site. They click “Select Image,” and then a dialog box appears that they can use to select an image from their drive. The image is loaded, and then they can choose another. However, the next time they click the Select Image button, they will need to re-navigate to the image folder. It is not very convenient to upload many images.

I am currently using Uploadify, but the user says the same problem occurs when downloading sample images using the Plupload demo page.

The user uses Windows 7 and IE9. I also use Windows 7 and IE9 and I have no problem. I have full administrator rights with UAC turned off, so maybe something has to do with this?

Interesting. I found a post on the Microsoft Answers website that seems to suggest that adding the site to your trusted sites fixes the problem (for this site)

Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites 

Starting Win7 and IE9, I got the same behavior from the Uploadify demo. By adding an addition to my trusted sites, closing the window and re-opening, I allow it.
