I want to use FireFox 12 to develop GWT. But this version is not officially supported by Google.

Stefan, I mainly use Firefox in my GWT projects and was able to switch to FF12 thanks to Alan Lung from Google, who published the Dev plugin build for FF12 on all major platforms . It’s safer to download the plugin from there. I’ve been using Mac Universal Binary for about a week now without any problems.
The code for updating the plugin is still in the overview . Rollback to Firefox 11 or use Chrome.
