Create your own lockscreen for Android 4.0 or later?

I want to create my own lockScreen for android 4.0 and higher, I tried the widget to create a lockscreen, but it only supports Android 4.2.

Is there any other way to create a custom lockScreen android?

Note: It will disable the home button "hardware".
