How to balance sound in html5

Is it possible to control the balance of audio channels in html5 using Javascript?

<audio id="audio_left" preload="auto"> <source src="audio/audio_left.ogg" type="audio/ogg"></source> <source src="audio/audio_left.mp3" type="audio/mp3"></source> </audio>

Not at the moment, as the Media API provides only high-level access to media files. There are several other APIs, such as the Mozilla Audio Data API , which provides lower-level content, but even now seems to support what you want. The web audio API provides much more, but it is still under development.

Another thread shows how to do this. It currently works in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
