Insert an SD card before using the Alert camera. Android emulator?

what I'm trying to do: open the camera and save the image on the SD card, but when the camera starts, I get an automatically generated warning displayed in the “toast” and says: “Insert the SD card before using the camera”

note: I am using an emulator.

any idea how to solve this?

When you create an AVD, you can tell whether to emulate an SDCard or not (and what size). It looks like you simply did not indicate the presence of an SDCard. Change your AVD settings and make sure you explicitly request SDCard support.

I had the same error message. This seems to be a problem that may also occur with a real device. In my case, I was able to solve the problem simply using the virtual device interface. I clicked on the SD card icon on the main screen (in the upper left corner in my case), I agreed to use the SD card only in this Android device, I accept moving files to the SD card.

I solved this by increasing the size of the SD card in AVD Manager, I had 100 MB, after which I downloaded it to 512 MB, and the message disappeared

In most cases, we ignore the options when creating the AVD, and later we realize that we did not select these options. Also make sure you select the appropriate front and rear cameras.
