How to change IIS Express 8 port from 80 to 8080

I used vs2010 and webmatrix. However, I am trying to use apache recently. So my IIS express uses port 80, and apache uses port 8080. I intend to do it the other way around. Let apache use port 80 and IIS 8080. I could not let apache listen on port 80 until IIS stopped listening on port 80. How can I configure IIS express port?

ps. I use win7 with one IP

To configure the default IIS website to use port 8080

On the Windows desktop, click Start, Administrative Tools, and then IIS Manager.

In Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, in the Connections panel, expand the computer name, Sites, and click Default Web Site.

In the Actions panel, under the Edit Site section, click Bindings.

In the Link Sites dialog box, click the http entry and click Edit.

In the Edit Site Mapping dialog box, in Port, enter 8080 and click OK.

In the Link Sites dialog box, click Close.

In the Actions panel, under Website Management, click Stop, and then Start.

How to change the IIS port on Windows Published November 21, 2017 by Suresh Kamrushi on Windows [I like] +2 [Unlike] 0 Thank you for your vote.

This shows how you can update the port number of the IIS server on Windows 10/8. There may be several reasons why you want to change the port, but for me it is WAMP, I use it for PHP projects. IIS and WAMP use the same port, which makes development difficult. So I updated the IIS port. You can also update the WAMP port by linking to my blog. To update the port number of the IIS server, follow these steps:

  1. Start and enter IIS
  2. IIS Manager will open. Click "Default Website" on the left side.
  3. click on "bindings ..." on the right side of the action section.
  4. A popup window will open with 80 ports listed. select it and click the edit button.
  5. Update the port and restart the server.
