Carousel looks like a gallery in jQuery Mobile

I would like to do something like this in jQueryMobile:

I do not need much more than the slider and indicator that is selected. He should show some photos.

So, I am testing a lot of image galleries. But most of them

a) Have Thumbnails as the initial interface, or b) does not work with jQuery Mobile.

Does anyone know an easy way to start this?

Cubiq Swipeview is really nice, lightweight and responsive.

He has what you asked for, and not much more. Of the sliders I tested with jQM, this is by far the most responsive.

To work with jQM, you have three options:

  • Initialize before jQM
  • Wrap it as a page
  • Put it in an iFrame

The default carousel built into Bootstrap is pretty good. Combined with some custom css, it can work wonders. It has an option for thumbnails, and I'm sure it will work with jQuery Mobile.

Slick slider is a good plugin and quite customizable.
