LinkedIn Oauth - revokes access from C #

I already have my authenticated users in my LinkedIn application, but I also want to give them the option to cancel authentication from my application at any time.

I think I'm just missing the http delete url, but I'm not sure.

thanks

The OAuth protocol is specifically designed to prevent what you are trying to accomplish. The OAuth security model introduces the third concept of the traditional client-server authentication model, and this is called the resource owner. The owner of the resource (your end users) is the only party that can provide and revoke access. Perhaps you could tell your users that they should visit LinkedIn to revoke access to help them in this process (I suppose you can also redirect them to LinkedIn). Ultimately, although if I were an end user, I would like to visit LinkedIn myself to revoke access.

I am not a C # programmer, but what I offer you is to give them a review access button. When this button is pressed, your software will delete the passkey that was saved there. If the access token is no longer stored anywhere, they will not be able to access your application, which will mean the same as deauthentication.

Hope this helps.
