What comes first - Command or EventHandler?

Question

In the context of Microsoft's MVVM template and its aspects of Commanding / Event Handling, I consider that I am binding the command to a control (such as Button) and subscribing to a Click control.

Is there any general rule, what action takes place first - processing the code associated with the command or associated with the corresponding event handler?

EventHandlers are fired before the associated ICommand.
