Android - bindService more than once

Question

Can services be associated more than once with the same context for the same service?

Is it possible to bind a service several times to the same service and unBindService only once?

You can associate multiple times with the same service with the same context, but this seems like bad practice to me. In addition, you cannot disable the service only once. You must cancel all your ServiceConnection .

UPDATE . As to why this looks like bad practice, it is because I cannot imagine why this is necessary. In addition, I think that a communication wrapper that will only bind and untie and serve as a facade interface for maintenance may be better because it will introduce less overhead and fewer errors (in my opinion, though)
