Jenkins checkstyle.xml doesn't match anything: 'build' exists, but not 'build / logs / checkstyle.xml

I'm new to Jenkins, so please forgive me if that sounds stupid.

I can’t get checkstyle working in Jenkins, I installed the build file and added the necessary information (see below), but will not receive the file.

The error I get: 'build / logs / checkstyle.xml' does not match anything: 'build' exists but not 'build / logs / checkstyle.xml'

Mistake. I resolved the above error and now I get the following:

When PHPCS returns with an exit code of 2, it can have many reasons if you do not check the output (output to /dev/null effectively prevents output [naturally])

ERROR: PHP_CodeSniffer requires PHP version 5.1.2 or higher.
ERROR: PHP_CodeSniffer requires the inclusion of a tokenizer extension.
ERROR: Could not find .git directory (git)
ERROR: Failed to execute (git, svn, hg)
ERROR: Could not find .hg (hg) directory

Next to the error, it may be an error with parameters, after which you will see a description of use. I highly recommend that you check the actual output as you know that you have exit code 2.

The list was obtained using:

 $ grep -rn -B 1 'exit(2);' *

which leads to some slightly outdated version of phpcs (1.3.3, 1.3.6 is stable right now):
