What version of hadoop to use?

Both chaos in action and the ultimate guide, both built their foundation from classes designated as mapred. And most of these classes are deprecated at 0.20.2. The signatures of the new classes are different. Can anyone tell me about the various changes. For example. separator class is deprecated. How a new gearbox will provide its function. Concept changes that occurred in 0.20.2

What should i use? On the wiki wiki, I see Download 1.0.X - current stable version, version 1.0 1.1.X - current beta version, version 1.1 2.XX - current alpha version 0.23.X - compared to 2.XX, but there is no NN HA. 0.22.X - does not include security 0.20.203.X - deprecated version 0.20.X - deprecated version

Does this mean that the induced classes were deprecated and were reintroduced. What version of hadoop should I use? 0.20.2 or 1.0.x?

Please check this, it explains Hadoop development version control: http://www.cloudera.com/blog/2012/04/apache-hadoop-versions-looking-ahead-3/

So, you can understand why it has rather complicated versions.

p / s: I use v1.0.3 for my system :)

This is the first publication of "Day of the Fools." :)

But anyone can agree that the versions are at best misleading.
