In fact, VS patterns are not associated with the 2.1 phone bundle. To “install” a template, you will need to create a template. Just open the \ full \ CordovaSolution.sln templates in Visual Studio and select "Export Template" from the file menu.

I have the same problem as above and I found some solution.
Using the Visual Studio 2010 and WindowsPhone 7.x SDK, we create the Phongegap application in Windows 7 and make it using the template in visual studio 2010.

Steps to create a project in visual studio 2010:

  • Fist Download WindowsPhoneSDK7 for Windows 7 Microsoft Download Center
  • After that, download the latest version of Phonegap SDK
  • open the lib / Windows Phone folder after extracting the downloaded Phpnegap sdk
  • In this folder, click the "createTemplates.bat" file that creates the zip file, for example CordovaWP7_x_x_x.zip
  • Copy CordovaWP7_x_x_x.zip and paste into Visual Studio 2010 \ Templates \ ProjectTemplates \ Visual C #
  • Now open Visual Studio 2010 and run a new project, which will show the CordovaWP7_x_x_x.zip template, after which the project will be created successfully.
