ITunes Connect: How To Return Application Status While Pending Download To Prepare for Download

Question

I download the first version of my iOS app for viewing, while my app has an In-App purchase. I made my application status "Ready to Download" during the download in the "Binary Download" section. But later, I realized that I should submit my first In-App purchase according to the application version.

Now I can’t edit the application purchase section in the metadata of the version of the application, because it states that you cannot send a purchase with this version to the application, since it has already been submitted for consideration.

I haven't uploaded the binary in this version yet, now there are two solutions that I think might be

1- I am sending an Apple review team to change the status of my application from Ready to upload back to Prepare for upload
OR
2- Download the binary and then reject it, but I am confused by the fact that rejecting the binary will return my status of the Preparing to Download or Waiting to Download application.

I forgot to submit any IAPs with my first binary code and received a rejection ("cannot buy anything = cannot view application"). I also rushed and clicked "ready to download binary" without first editing the IAP. I just submitted the exact same binary and quickly rejected it. Then I could edit IAP and finally resubmitted the binary again. Hope this helps.

1. Download the current binary file.

2. Make sure "developer rejected."

3. Download the new binary file of your choice.
