IOS: AppStore installs the old version, and then offers to upgrade it to the new version.

I posted a new version of my app on the AppStore and was approved a week ago.

However, I uninstall the application from the iPad, install it from the AppStore and install the old version. The Install button in the AppStore turns into Update, instead of Launch, and then I install the new version.

Does anyone know what could happen here? Why is the new version not installed in the first place?

I tried with iOS 5 and iOS 6

TestFlight or the Ad-Hoc network is almost always the cause of this problem.

In addition, when backing up via iCloud and synchronizing your applications, they will not be automatically updated.

Cancel your application from Ad-Hoc and from TestFlight. It should upgrade to the latest version.

This problem only occurs on legacy iOS , such as iOS 5 or iOS 6. If you are trying to install the latest version of iOS 7, this may not occur. I tested and faced the same problem in iOS 6, but I could not play on iOS 7 .
