Rspec color with Conemu

I am trying to get the colors displayed on my windows 7 x64 machine when rspec starts up. I tried console2 and ansicon, but this can lead to Ruby crashing. I have ConEmu installed and Ruby starts up again, but I am not getting any colors for rspec. Also in lines that I expect to see color, they are preceded by text like [31m or [36m (this also happens with cmd.exe).

To enable ANSI X3.64 processing in ConEmu, you must enable two options on the Features page:

  • "Inject ConEmuHk"
  • "ANSI X3.64 / xterm 256 colors"

In fact, if you only need ANSI processing in the root process (e.g. cmd.exe), there is no need to enable "Inject ConEmuHk". But in most cases, when you run smth (which uses ANSI) from the root shell, "Injects" is required.

The ATM, the latest alpha version recommended, had several delays in the current stable build.
