Integrate Sage Line 50 with Windows Application

I need to integrate a Windows C # application with sage line 50. (To send all invoice data from the application to sage).

I searched on Google and in most places where it says, to integrate the sage 50 line, we need to use the sage Development Kit (SDK). but it is not free.

We already bought a wise line of 50. But now I want to know how we can integrate our accounting software with 50 sage?

I found this url

http://crmsageconnector.codeplex.com/

they use the Microsoft Dynamics CRM connector for Sage Line 50 to synchronize data as well as data migration.

Yes, the Sage 50 Accounts SDK is required if you want to integrate your credentials into Sage ... And yes, it costs money: about £ 1,500.

To do this, you get full access to the development support team (who are really useful and know what they are talking about), SDK DLLs, extensive SDK documents and activation keys so that you can start using the SDK with Sage.

Note - code examples are written in C # and VB.Net.

Sage Data Objects C # seems to be alternative, paid, but there is no download link on the website http://www.sagedataobjects.com/

I was looking for exactly the same problem. Sage SDK is £ 1,500 a year! and my understanding after talking with Sage is that any applications developed in this version will not necessarily work with future versions of Sage, so you will have to spend ANOTHER !!! £ 1,500 to get the latest dll, etc., if your application needs to be updated for later versions. This is too rich for me and, more importantly, my client.

I searched for alternatives and found SDATA on

http://sage.imtqy.com/SData-2.0/

This is quite complicated material, but for everyone who is interested, it allows me to request information about clients, and, most importantly, it allows me to add and edit clients. I am going to try adding an invoice.

I used the link above and the .net client example here as a link

https://github.com/Sage/SDataCSharpClientLib

Hope this helps someone.

You need to apply to become a sage developer at http://www.sage.co.uk/partnering-sage/developers/index.html

Choose the option that suits you best and is applicable, or you can hire a developer who has already paid to become a member to write the code for you (for example, lol).

You can find my PostTrans product that imports data from Excel. Using excel, you can easily add your own code / macros / formula for managing data before sending it to Sage 50 accounts with full verification and search for codes to search in cells.

idaea for entering data or importing external data. see http://www.posttrans.co.uk/

Sorry for the announcement, but may be helpful; _)
