How to delete everything after the last. I have a file with urls.

Follow these steps:

  • Open the Notepad++ file.
  • Press Ctrl + F.
  • In the Find what text box, add the regular expression: [^/]+$
  • Keep the Replace with text box blank (in the screenshot, which is my mouse cursor).
  • Be sure to set the Regular Expression switch at the bottom
  • The Notepad ++ dialog should look like this:

Note:

The regular expression [^/]+$ matches at least one of the (nothing slash) followed by the end of the line:
