Remove avd emulator using mac

I am trying to remove several emulators manually. The reason is that when I remove them from the avd manager, it always indicates that the emulator is running. Wrong. I use a Mac, use a terminal and finder, but I can not find the folder in which the emulator

Can anyone help?

Many thanks.

Best wishes

Emulator instances (AVDs) on OSX can be found in:

~/.android/avd

So from the terminal:

 cd ~/.android/avd ls

will show you emulators and their configurations. Note that there is a .avd directory, as well as a .ini file for each existing emulator.

Duration:

 rm -rf emulatorNameIWantToDelete.*

From the ~ / .android / avd directory, this emulator will be manually deleted.

Just be careful because the rm -rf command will delete something permanently.
