Best VirtualBox settings for developers using Windows 8 and vs2012

Question

What are the best settings (and the best way) to configure VirtualBox to run Windows 8 and vs2012 to develop WinRT (application stores, etc.)?

My machine specification is a 3.40 GHz 64-bit Intel Core i7-2600 processor with 8 GB of RAM.

Any constructive advice is appreciated. Please be as detailed as possible.
