How to view packages as a folder structure in eclipse

In eclipse, I would like to see packages as a folder structure, rather than the smoothed view provided by Package Explorer by default, is there a way to do this?

Eclipse offers a Navigator view that displays your project as you ask. To open this view, choose Window > Show View > Navigator .

Select the first package in the package explorer. Press Alt - Shift - N to open the context menu of the new item. Click Package.

Verify that the new package name is an optional package of the source package. For example, if your source package is com.example , the new package might be com.example.gui .


EDIT . If you want to see nested packages, Eugene says you can do this:

Explorer package / View Menu (Ctrl-F10) / Presentation of the package ... / Hierarchical
