Eclipse 4.2 Java Console Change Background Color

Question

I am trying to change my java console color, but the startup / debugging settings that I set do not seem to work. I installed the Eclipse Color Themes and Eclipse Chrome plugins and they work great.

I read other posts but could not find the answers ... thanks!

I tried changing this setting to an older version and it worked.

Perhaps the plugin is causing this problem. You can delete them one by one until it works again.

Or maybe this is a bug with 4.2. Try the previous version.

for me there really wasn’t any place until I ran the program and then updated the background color.
