Testflight cannot install the application

I have several testers who registered with testflight and connected their devices ... they have different ios models ... iOS 6 and above ... but they all have the same problem.

When they click the install button of the application from the "safari" or the application "testflight" ...

the application will start loading ... reaches about 90%, an error message appears ... "NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION". The "application" cannot be installed at this time.

Now I have about 30 testers ... 7 of them have the same problem ... others successfully connected the application without any problems, which is always the case ...

This seems to be an absolutely random mistake, since there are no correlations between phone models or ios versions ... which, by the way, are all 6 and above ....

So ... what am I doing. please, help

there can be many reasons. Below are some of the mentioned

  • You use a developer profile instead of an Adhoc distribution profile

  • You are using an application identifier different from the one that belongs to your profile

  • There may be a problem with iCloud / Gamecenter enabled / disabled

In any case, ask the testers to connect the device to the PC / Mac open iPhone Configuration Utility and view the logs after you click install from the testflight assembly. This will give them a deep understanding of what is happening there. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem, it seems that the test is not working. It did not appear in the state of the system from the very beginning, but they updated it to reflect the period in which I encountered a problem.

I had about 70 testers, only one was downloaded, this tester just kept repeating.

testflight

In my case, uninstalling / reinstalling the TestFlight application from the testers' phones helped, as if the installations were in an irrevocably bad state.

For anyone who understands this, it's worth noting that iTunes Connect support did not help, and Apple Developer support did not help.

It seems that the original problem was resolved using the appropriate training profile.

But to record future googlers, I received a profile installation error (see in the console log) 0xe800800b, which seemed to be an unusual error code, because I could not find anything.

Finally, it was discovered that something mentioning the β€œbad UDID” would lead to a number of possible error codes, and I had 19 old ones in mine (damn it, select all).

The choice of only those few whom I really worried (and knew) solved the problem (I never bothered to find which was bad).
