Why is publish_stream not specified in extended resolution?

I was wondering why there are no publish_stream permissions on this or any other manual pages.

Is this a documentation error or something suspicious? He still mentioned here and there , but not in any of the reviews (which appear to apply only to publish_actions permission). What a deal?

It appears that they came out of this permission but did not update their documentation for some time. Now he points out the following:

Facebook used to have permission called publish_stream. publish_actions replaces it in all cases. This permission also replaces photo_upload.

I believe that it has been replaced by a publication.

I don't think this is out of date, just a recommended resolution. If you want to publish to the friends timeline, you still need publish_stream.
