How to display tables on mobile devices using Bootstrap?

My tables are displayed perfectly on the desktop, but as soon as I try to view the mobile version, my table will be too wide for the screen of the mobile device. I use a responsive layout.

How to set table width for mobile viewing? What other alternatives exist for presenting tabular data on mobile views using Bootstrap?

Bootstrap 3 presents responsive tables :

<div class="table-responsive"> <table class="table"> ... </table> </div>

Credit Jason Bradley to provide an example:

You can also try one of these approaches, as large tables are not completely friendly on mobile devices, even if they work:

I disagree with “No more tables,” but it clearly depends on your application.

All tables in bootstrap are stretched according to the container in which they are located. You can put your tables inside a .span element to control size. This question may help you.

Why are Twitter Bootstrap tables always 100% wide?
