I recently found this: http://2d-code.co.uk/iqr-qr-code/
This is a QRCode, but an improved version. I use some QRCode libraries in some projects, and this is great technology, but IQR-Code sounds very promising. Smaller (sometimes size is a problem) and may contain more characters at a very short distance.
To familiarize yourself with the new technology, see also this page .
I want to try playing with this new QRCode to find out if it is really useful and suitable for one of my projects, but I can not find any library for it. I want to find a library that can be used in Android, Delphi, PHP, AS3 or / and javascript. Is there a "hidden" link on the Internet that leads me to such a library?
The next thing I'm curious about is reading speed. For example, the ZBAR and XZing library reads QR codes at razor speed. What about fixing bugs, is it enough enough? Since it uses less space, is it easy to read with a camera? Is it worth investing time in this new format?
Does anyone have more information about this or is there a demo project that I can download?
EDIT 01/01/2018:
Today I found YAB (another barcode) initiated by the fraunhofer. This is a three-dimensional color-coded barcode that can hold more data in a smaller form factor. It can be used freely, the source code is accessible and deserves more attention, take a look at:
Or use the online demo:
