Disable fullscreen in Chrome for Android

The latest version of Chrome for Android adds a quasi-full-screen mode that hides the address bar when scrolling up. This has weird effects in my web application, which is mostly controlled by scrolling up and down.

Is there a way to keep the address bar visible (old way)?

The short answer is no. If you feel that this should be a feature, please write a bug at crbug.com/new and let me know. It should not affect the scroll, since it saves all the settings and matches exactly the same if you see problems with scrolling, such as events that do not fire, that is, due to the way the composer works.

The reason why not is that it is a feature on all mobile platforms, and we have parity with their way of providing the user with more vertical real estate.
