Introducing a new google map to your site

I just found out that the new google map does not have a link button that allows people to get embed code that they can embed on their websites.

LINK-1 LINK-2 (both links say click on the link to get the code to insert)

Also, They seem to have changed the url format (now much cleaner!) Now it looks like this:

https://www.google.com/maps/preview?ie=UTF8#!data=!1m4!1m3!1d2020!2d74.995161!3d13.2164639

where is the parameter !! contains all the information (lat, long, zoom, screen span, etc.)

 !data=!1m4!1m3!1d2020!2d74.995161!3d13.2164639

So, I tried to create the card insertion parameters manually (assuming that! 2d74.995161 and! 3d13.2164639 represent lat and long)

 <iframe class="map" width="924" height="208" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&amp;t=m&amp;ll=74.995161,13.2164639&amp;spn=0.003381,0.017231&amp;z=16&amp;output=embed"></iframe>

But, to my surprise, the aforementioned insertion code points to a completely different location (Greenland Sea !, where my original link has an IND index).

My question is: how do I get the embed code in the new Google map.

You have changed the latitude and longitude:

Try it,

https://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=m&ll=13.2164639,74.995161&spn=0.003381,0.017231&z=16&output=embed

On the new Google maps, they added the option "Share and embed map".

It is hidden in a small gear on the right side of the map.

Or you can manually create it ... but it is simpler and it will also be associated with Google listing.

It just turned out how to eliminate this annoying toolbar and other toolbars so that I could see the map in full screen mode. Actually, here's what to see, how to do it, but none of the proposed solutions worked. I realized this by accident.

Here is what I did. Go to the map. Hold down the ctrl key and use the wheel on the mouse roll to make everything smaller. Now, if you do this while the pointer hangs over the toolbar, these toolbars become smaller. Now move the cursor to the map and roll to the other side. You can zoom in on the map, and these toolbars will remain their tiny size. Love it, yes, overtonmath "and know sin 30?"
