Is there a way to increase YouTube API v3 quota limits?

Is there a way (paid or unpaid) to increase the quota limit by 5,000,000 units / day imposed when using version 3 of the YouTube API?

I read that only 16,000 units are used to download videos - this is equivalent to only 312 videos per day.

I signed up for billing, but still don't get the opportunity to increase from a "politeness limit" of 5 million.

Yes, for a higher quota there is a complex form .

It is linked in the developer console, for example, at: http://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/youtube-json.googleapis.com/quotas?project=YOURPROJECTID

The form begins with some statements:

This app will ask detailed questions about:

(i) your business, (ii) your use of each YouTube API (current and proposed use, if applicable), and (iii) your every website or that uses or will use the YouTube API (each โ€œAPI Clientโ€).

This application also requires that you submit screenshots and design documents regarding your API client (s) and your use of YouTube API (s). If you do not have them, please be available.

We will strive to respond to your expression as soon as possible, provided that all necessary supporting materials are presented and sufficient, and carefully answered all questions.

Note. Please do not apply for an additional quota if you are not really close to your current limit.

There is a form, but at the moment they do not approve of the additional quota. Maybe in the future. It would be best to contact your Google Account Manager (if you have one assigned)
