What are the main differences between these projects? What are the pros and cons of each?

From a high-level point of view, RTD is more fully represented and is primarily focused on:

• Acceptance tests
• unit testing
• coverage report

Laika has a lighter weight and focuses on:

• integration testing

You can do acceptance testing with Laika and integration testing with RTD ... but it's much easier to use a tool specifically designed for the job.

At the time of writing, there are still some problems with matching (RTD is acceptance testing, not integration), but its a good review.
