How to run apk file on Mac via Bluestacks

I use Bluestacks as a virtual device to run an apk file on my laptop. On Windows, it's pretty simple. I just need to install Bluestacks, then double-click the apk file that I want to run. It will automatically install on Bluestacks. However, this is a pain on the Mac. After installing Bluestacks, I still cannot open the apk file.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Open a terminal and run the following command:

~/Library/BlueStacks\ App\ Player/Runtime/uHD-Adb install PATH_AND_APK_FILENAME

This is for Bluestack version 0.9.30.

Just right-click the .apk and Open With file, like: enter image description here

BlueStacks.app and wait for the installation to complete.

Note If the default application is already BlueStacks, you can simply double-click the .apk file.

I would suggest using Genymotion , it is fast and supports many features that do not have blue stacks and are easy to install.

Download Astro File Manager, open, find the file from the SD cards (SD cards are your Mac hard drive), press the APK file, install and fill out!

Disconnect all physical Android devices, disconnect other virtual devices and open a terminal, enter the following:

adb install -r PATH TO APK.apk
