Adb does not recognize Android 4.0.4 device

I have two Android phones

  • Alcatel One Touch 4030D, version 4.1.1 for Android, kernel version 3.4.0
  • Highscreen Spark, version 4.0.4 for Android, kernel version 3.0.21-perf.

adb devices detects an Alcatel phone, but not a Highscreen.

I tried to run adb kill-server; adb start-server adb kill-server; adb start-server , but this did not help. Switching between different connection modes (multimedia device (MTP), USB-drive) did not help either. USB debugging is enabled.

Here are screenshots of the developer settings:

How can I make adb recognize a Highscreen device?

Update 1 (08/03/2013 19:00 MSK): Adding line 0454 to adb_usb.ini did not help.

Update 2 (08/03/2013 19:59 MSK): My attempt to follow the official Google recommendations because I could not find drivers for the Highscreen Spark device.

If you can configure ADT on Linux or Mac, it will work out of the box. We were able to connect all kinds of devices for easy use with ADT on Linux / Mac.

If you were unable to connect it via USB, you can try to connect to the network. Add the device to the same network, then enter the command line:

 adb connect your_device_ip_address

Hey, try to dig out the drivers on the official website .

You can look for other sites for USB drivers that can help you get out of your problem.

I had the same problem. Try again by activating the usb bulk storage.

Without an adb driver for the device (in your case Highscreen Spark) it is practically impossible to create a bridge (connection) between your program and the device, since adb (Android Debug bridge) establishes a connection between your PC / laptop to your Android device and without adb in windows Pc / Laptops can be easily debugged.

Because of this, companies like samsung, lg, htc provide adb users with drivers for easy debugging, if you don’t have an adb driver for your device, you have only one choice, change your operating system to linux and then see the magic .

I had the same problem. It turns out that the problem was connecting the USB port I. The port directly on my laptop does not allow ADB to see the device. Port on the back of my dock Allows ADB to see the device. I believe this is due to USB 3.0 vs 2.0. I believe 3.0 is blocking the protocol that ADB should use.

In fact, you will need device drivers for the connection, so try performing the insatalling Highscreen Spark PC Suite.

If this does not work or you do not find PC Suite, you can download Moborobo here , which is a universal PC Suite for smartphones and connect the device to it, and then try to connect the device from abd

This could be a problem with your adb.exe. I used to have the same problem connecting the HCL G1 tablet . I also added lines to android_winusb.ini, but still could not connect.
Then I found out this link. I got the solution by modifying the adb.exe file. Try this link:
http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/37692-adb-drivers-problem/ Or just download adb.exe from the following link and replace it with adb.exe file http://sdrv.ms/NepKED
It is also suggested to run this command so that adb_usb.ini is effective for the corresponding adb after the change.
echo 0x2207 β†’% USERPROFILE% .android \ adb_usb.ini

After the head hit for more than one day, a small thing saved my life on my device based on RK3066:

after updating adb_usb.ini and everything else, and after you do

 adb kill-server

follow up

 adb usb

and only then do

 adb devices

saved my life

By the way

Adding line 0454 to adb_usb.ini did not help.

you must add 0x454

I had problems with my Android phone, which appeared when I dialed adb devices but found out that it was the USB cable that caused this problem. My family members have two different Android phones with their own cable. I used one phone with another USB cable for phones only because it was the nearest one, and I didn’t think that this would make a difference, but it did.

Try using a different USB cable and this may help.

I have the same problem in the past, but I did not find the driver on my computer today, so:

You can go to http://www.alcatelonetouch.com and find a call center for your land. Call them and explain the problem, they should send you a driver to connect your phone to the computer. These drivers are very easy to install. I did this and I can use it for debbuging

I want you good luck ... sorry for my english
