One Page / Long Homepage Web Design?

There is a web design trend that I see more and more on the sites I come across. The fact is that I do not know what he officially named, so I do not know how to search for a topic on websites or blogs. I would like to find textbooks and articles regarding tips and best practices, but I have not found them and do not know how people call this design style.

Basically, it has a long front page (or inner pages) with a large number of horizontal sections with large images and text. This is similar to single page sites, but it is not one page. This is similar to Parallax, but in fact it does not use the parallax effect (not necessary, at least). It also blends very closely with a responsive design, as it shares this long vertical format designed for lots of scrolling.

The single-page application does not match the “one page website”. First of all, the difference between the application and the site is that the site is simply used to display information, while the application provides the user with a function or utility or service. Applications are interactive as needed. In addition, single-page applications can have more than one “screen” or “view,” but these views are loaded through AJAX calls backstage and do not require page refresh. Examples of single-page applications include Gmail and Facebook.

A single page site does not necessarily have a long page scroll design.

Google search results for the phrase "single page pages" show that it is used to describe the same types of sites. One website appears as another synonym (for example, onepagelove.com provides a collection of one-page website designs).
