Unable to login to app via iFrame in Chrome, but when viewed directly

I am creating an auction application for a music festival, and the application is embedded in the festival website via iFrame .

The problem with Chrome. When viewing directly (on the source site), I can log in to the application well, but when viewing the application via iFrame on the festival website, I cannot log in. However, I can still register users. It should also be noted that this system was built on CodeIgnitor.

I have absolutely no clue why this is happening? Is it related to cross-domain policies? Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

The site you are interacting with has probably implemented Clickjacking protection. Protection typically includes either exiting iFrames or completely blocking all requests coming from iFrames.

I would like to contact the site developer and find out about any implemented click protection tools that they have in place - they may have a white list of your domain name, but it depends on their technology, etc.
