AdMob Account Migration and AdSense Account

Today I tried to upgrade my old AdMob account to the new AdMob (using this guide https://support.google.com/admob/v2/answer/3077517 ). But I could not execute the frist step with the verification information:

Signing up for AdMob requires a valid AdSense account, but your AdSense account app is currently not approved. To update and resubmit your application, visit AdSense directly.

Some time ago I tried to create an AdSense account for one of my pages, but was rejected due to lack of good content. And so my question is: do I need a site where AdSense content will be updated in order to publish it through AdMob in Android applications?

As I understand it, if you have not used AdSense in your account, you cannot use this email address as your new Admob account.

I ran into the same problem and the following script succeeded:

  • Create a new gmail account.

  • Create a new admob account using this email address.

  • Link your new admob and old admob. (This is described on the new google support and support pages)

  • Import your data in the legendary admob into the new admob.

Honestly, I do not want to complete this last step due to the new policies of the new admob:

  • Payment methods changed: as I understand it, paypal is no longer a valid payment method. EFT and Western Union checks are valid forms of payment.

  • To choose a payment method, you need to reach a balance of $ 10.

  • Additional information may be required to select a payment method, for example, valid tax IDs and more, if applicable. This "additional information" is available after a balance of $ 10.

  • Payment thresholds changed: thresholds increased to $ 100. If you have a monthly income of $ 30, it’s enough to receive monthly payments with a threshold value of $ 20. However, with an increased threshold of $ 100, you will receive payments every 3-4 months.
