Kernel panic - not synchronization: an attempt to kill an unoccupied task on Vmware.

I am trying to install ubuntu through a VMware workstation. The process stops after throwing the error "The kernel is panic - not synchronization: an attempt to kill an unoccupied task", I looked for a solution on the forums, but they help a little. Here is the environment that I use.

My current OS: Windows 7 (64 bit)

Ubuntu ISO: 12.04.3 desktop (64 bit)

VMWare Workstation: Version 7.

And here is the stack trace. Thanks in advance!! Error Trace

How much RAM is on your host?

I think you should try with less RAM in the guest (1Gb) for testing.

Perhaps the problem is caused, vm does not save enough RAM for the host

What is the version for you of VMware ws? latest?

If the problem is still alive, try vbox. Vbox is not hungry than VMware ws.
