Application Development for Sony Bravia

I just bought a Sony Bravia Internet TV. And as a developer (just a web developer), I want to try to develop an application for my TV. But I can’t find a tutorial or an introduction on how to develop an application for Sony Bravia TV, except for the Sony Google TV and the Javascript SDK for the Japanese. Unfortunately, I do not know the Japanese.

You can develop applications for the Opera TV Store, as suggested by Tonnie. But your application will not be available on your TV home screen, like other native applications (media player, YouTube, etc.).

If you are creating an application in the Opera TV store, you first need to open the Opera Store application, and then find your application in the "My Applications" section. Using this method, you can create HTML5-based applications where you must host HTML pages on an external server. There is no SDK device, and you cannot use the built-in functions.
