Can Amazon Elastic Transcoder Combine Two Videos

That is, take foo.mp4 and bar.mp4 and create foobar.mp4, which is just foo.mp4, followed by bar.mp4? (For an extra loan, if he can do this, can he also combine foo.mp4 and bar.mov?)

I might also want to do some other things for transcoding, but right now I'm worried about concatenation. Thanks!

The answer seems to be no, at least for now (September 2013) - https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.jspa?messageID=490206񷫞

AWS has added the ability to define multiple inputs for a job that combines clips into a single clip.

If you go through the console and look at the graphical interface there, you will see the option "+ Add another input". Console Login Options

You can see that the request input accepts an array. http://docs.aws.amazon.com/elastictranscoder/latest/developerguide/create-job.html

Right now (April 2017), they don’t have the opportunity to set the transition as you would in a video editor (for example, dissolve, dive into black), so you will need to check the transition of the output clip to see how it ends. You can click each input separately to get the desired result (for example, turn off / on).

Yes.

You can configure Elastic Transcoder to stitch parts or clips from multiple input files to create one output. This allows you to create one output from different inputs, for example, individual recording sessions or highlights from the game.
