Create HL7 v3 post in java

I am new to hl7, I have created an application using hapi2.1 that is applicable for receiving and responding to hl7 v2 messages now, I want to also accept v3 messages. Since hapi does not support v3 messages, is there a way to accept hl7 v3 messages and reply to them? Is there an api for hl7 v3 messages in java like hapi?

Not. The HL7 v3 messaging API does not yet exist, for example, hapi for version v2.x, and I believe that you are looking for an open source solution, not hl7. However, there is RIMBAA on the RIM side of healthcare development. You may be interested in learning about this here on this page.
