How to switch view modes in the built-in diff-viewer of Visual Studio 2012 and 2013?

Visual Studio currently displays the differences between the files:

I would like it to display two files separately (including red / green symbols), since I consider these to be the default settings. How to change the way differences are displayed?

Check the toolbar "Compare files", there is a button for it.

Or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + \ , Ctrl + 2 .
