I am following the sample code from the Google Maps API webpage that uses JavaScript and HTML. The HTML sample works fine, but using the JavaScript source in JSP to create Google Maps does not work.
<%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=EUC-KR" pageEncoding="EUC-KR"%> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=EUC-KR"> <title>Insert title here</title> </head> <body> <script src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?v=3.exp&sensor=false"></script> <script> var map; function initialize() { var mapOptions = { zoom: 8, center: new google.maps.LatLng(-34.397, 150.644) }; map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById('map-canvas'), mapOptions); } google.maps.event.addDomListener(window, 'load', initialize); </script> </body> </html>
This is from the documentation . How to use Google Api v3 in JSP Source?
