Documentation error: which version of Firefox supports Selenium?

Looking at the Platforms supported by Selenium , the highest version of selenium support is v 10. I assume this corresponds to 10, which is the current extended support release, v17 is the next ESF, due out on November 20, 2012.

However, looking at the release notes for the Selenium 2.25 client driver (July 18, 12), he says: "Updated supported versions of Firefox to 17"

Which page should we read? How do the platforms supported by the Selenium page relate to version 2.2.5?

You should contact CHANGELOG . It is always the last. Seleniumhq.org is being updated by someone manually ... What doesn't happen regularly, I think.

I am using selenium 2.25 and I had to download version 14 in Firefox to make selenium work correctly. Other people fixed this problem, but I did not find any resources that say which versions of Firefox are supported for each version of selenium.

selenium-firefox-driver 2.25.0 does not work correctly with Firefox 15

Also, if you use selenium with your web browser, you will have to disable automatic updates in your browser to prevent it from updating.
