How to check payment methods in magento 1.8.0.0?

I'm just curious if anyone knows how to check purple payment options.

I have a few questions.

• Do I need to change the code on any of the pages?
• Do I need to make any changes to the administrator settings?
• Is there an easy way to check these payment methods?
• Are there only certain payment methods that you can really verify?

No, you do not need to change any code. Its all processed from the backend.

Usually for development purposes we use the cash on delivery or check / money transfer method. Therefore, you just need to enable this method from the backend.

To test credit cards, activate the “Saved CC” payment method and during the check use the VISA test credit card, card number 4111111111111111 with any future date for the Expiration Date and any cvv number

In addition, for the proper integration of payment gateways, you will need to purchase a payment gateway, which together with it will provide the Magento module. This payment method will have 2 test and live modes that are configured with banckend. Thus, in test mode, you can continue development and testing.

Similarly with Paypal. Yo can set up a test Sandbox account. The module already exists.

If you want to use Express Checkout:

• Go to developer.paypal.com and sign in using your PayPal account (it doesn't matter if the account is empty or not).
• Click on the menu item in the top panel and select Accounts in the sidebar.

PS: From my experience, this is the standard for testing live sites. Sandbox payment only works on intermediate / dev sites, as it puts the entire website in dev mode.
